API Key Information

What is an API Key and Why is it Important?

An API key is a unique identifier used to authenticate requests to our API. It acts as a secret token, ensuring that only authorized users can access the API and its features.

Important:
Your API key will only be shown once during the generation process. Make sure to save it securely, as it cannot be retrieved again. If you lose your API key, you will need to generate a new one. This is because, for security reasons, we only store a hashed version of your API key in our database.

GENERATE YOUR API KEY

To generate your API key, follow these steps:

Login to your account.
LOGIN HERE
Update your plan to Limited Partners.
Ensure your plan includes access to the Limited Partners data.
Access your profile.
Click on your profile in the top-right corner.
Select "Get API Key" from the dropdown.
A dropdown menu will appear; click on Get API Key to generate your unique API key.

(IMPORTANT!) Save Your API Key

Your API key will be displayed only once during the generation process. Make sure to:

Copy and securely save your API key in a safe location, such as a password manager.
Remember: If you lose the API key, you will need to generate a new one. For security purposes, we only keep the hashed API key in our database, ensuring it cannot be accessed or retrieved by anyone, including us.

If you require a new API key, you will need to follow the generation process again. Each user can have only one active API key at a time.
